Privacy is important for both our users and us here at Zizr. Here you will find information on how we collect and use personal data as well as your rights related to your Zizr-ID account.

Zizr respects your right to privacy and takes your privacy seriously. Zizr is committed to protecting and securing any personal information you give us. This Privacy Policy describes who we are; how we collect, use and share personal information about you; how you can manage the information you give us and exercise your privacy rights; and how we protect your information. This Privacy Policy relates to our use of any personal information we collect from you when you; become a Zizr-user, use our websites, and when using our size recommendation tool through the services of our third-party merchant partners (hereinafter “Zizr Merchants”) or give us in any other way (collectively the “Services”). What do we do?
Zizr aims to provide an easier and more sustainable way of shopping for clothes, shoes, and apparel mainly online, but also in physical stores. By reducing uncertainty related to size and fit, Zizr makes it easier for customers to shop while at the same time reducing the number of returns. Reducing returns should equal less water waste, less CO2 emission, less congestion, less scrapped clothes, and less cost added to the consumers.
Our unique size recommendation tool is based on the consumers’ purchase histories and machine learning, enabling Zizr-users to get almost instant recommendations of what size will likely fit when shopping via Zizr Merchants’ websites, mobile applications, and physical stores.
Your agreement with Zizr
This Zizr Privacy Policy is part of the terms and conditions for the use of Zizr and thus part of the agreement between you as a Zizr-user and Zizr AS («Zizr»).
External Links and Zizr Merchants
If any parts of our Services link you to other websites or Applications (such as Zizr Merchants), those newly opened links do not operate under this Privacy Policy. You should examine the privacy policies posted in other online areas to understand their procedures.
Information stored by Zizr
Zizr processes any personal data in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation. Zizr stores information that is provided by yourself in your Zizr-ID when you sign up and data which is generated when you use the service and buy clothes, shoes, and apparel from Zizr Merchants. The only information absolutely required for our Services to function is your email address. Other information such as name, date of birth, phone number, address, etc is optional. Zizr stores the following data:
- Email address, name, date of birth, phone number, and address. The objective is to identify you and to administer your relationship with Zizr. Your email address, date of birth, phone number, or address may also be used for customer relations management and marketing purposes, and after your consent, to give you the opportunity to quickly fill out contact details, payment, and shipping details on Zizr Merchants’ websites where you can use your Zizr-ID.
- To make third-party merchant websites “recognize you” and thus make it possible to access Zizr and provide sizing recommendations without manually logging in, we use Cookies.
- To improve our size recommendation tool (including the accuracy of recommendations) and shopping experience, we register your purchase and transaction history as well as on which third-party Zizr Merchants websites you have used your Zizr-ID.
From time to time and usually following a purchase, we may ask you for your feedback with regards to size and fit to ensure we are providing you the best possible size recommendation tool, and thus improve the environmental sustainability of shopping. Such information may also be entered voluntarily by Users to their Zizr-ID to improve the accuracy of future size recommendations.
Disclosure of personal data
Information that can be linked to you personally will not be shared with others unless it is stipulated in this Privacy Policy or founded on the law, or if you have specifically agreed thereto.
Zizr can share your personal data with sub-suppliers who process personal data on behalf of Zizr (processors). Such processors may be outside the EU/EEA. The transfer of personal data to such processors is in accordance with processor agreements which, among other things, prevent the processors from using the data for other purposes (according to standards adopted by the European Commission). The transfer of personal data to Zizr’s processors is not deemed to be disclosured.
Cookies

Customer relationship management and marketing
Based upon your consent, Zizr may, from time to time, inform you about its own services and products within the clothing, shoes, and apparel category from Zizr Merchants. In addition, Zizr may give you information about other product categories if you have given your consent. This implies that Zizr or the Zizr Merchants or other partners send you useful information and offers for products and services electronically. Consent in accordance with this provision encompasses electronic marketing of all types of products and services, not only products you have previously consented to. You may withdraw your consent at any time by adjusting your settings in your Zizr-ID.
Right of access, rectification and deletion
As provided by the General Data Protection Regulation, you have the right to access the data Zizr has registered about you by sending a written and signed request to Zizr. Please contact Zizr to rectify information about you that is inaccurate. Please note that access and rectification can easily be done yourself by accessing your Zizr-ID. You may object to the processing of your data for marketing purposes by withdrawing your personal consent in your Zizr-ID. Such withdrawal may result in us not providing you with optimal service, and thus a less sustainable shopping. Personal data will not be stored longer than necessary to carry out the purpose of the processing. Thereafter, the data will be deleted or anonymized unless the information will or can be stored beyond the statutory time period. This also applies if you delete your Zizr-ID. Information about your transactions is anonymized and will continue to be stored by Zizr.
Securing personal data
Personal data collected by Zizr shall be stored and processed in a safe and secure manner. We have established and documented procedures and measures to ensure satisfactory data security with regards to confidentiality, integrity, and accessibility in accordance with General Data Protection Regulation art. 32.
Complaints
If you are of the opinion that our use and handling of personal information is in breach of the General Data Protection Regulation or the Norwegian Personal Data Act, you can contact us at support@zizr.id or complain to the relevant supervisory authority, which in Norway is the Norwegian Data Protection Agency datatilsynet.no.
Amendments
Zizr can make amendments to this privacy protection policy to comply with statutory requirements and its own procedures for collecting and processing data. If significant amendments are made, you will have to approve the terms and conditions again.
